Sri Sathya Sai Baba

I was pleasantly surprised to read this article about Sai Baba by Vir Sanghvi. Having personally seen this cheat and his foolish disciples, I would have been more stern in my praise of the old crook had I written this article.

I know there are many educated people, including our president, who are his disciples, and all those who follow the crook will be upset.

But does it look like I care?

I can't articulate clearly how much I hate such cheats.

Yes it's very annoying isn't it?

People are sheep.

If you try to lead them away by screaming on a podium on the opposite side of where he stands, then there's absolutely no difference between you and him.

If you instead choose to keep quiet and act like nothing is going on, you will burn inside when someone you love and respect is led astray this way.

True, it is very annoying!

It is really very annoying, especially when you see tens of thousands of devotees being fooled by this chap. The time I went to see his aashram in Whitefield, he himself was prompting devotees to sing songs in his own praise.

There are always two sides to every story:

The Truth About Vir Sanghvi

The Truth About H.H. Swami Saiexposedananda

I think it is debatable just 'who' are the sheep. According to the holy scriptures which actually preceded what is now called Hinduism, Avatars exist and that is what Sai Baba is believed to be by millions of Hindus. Can the white man comprehend the nature of an Avatar, particularly if he thinks Christianity is the only true religion (even though Hinduism existed thousands of years BEFORE Christianity)? Jesus was crucified for claiming he and his Father were one even though his miraculous abilities are legendary.

It seems that man's self-destructive qualities never fail to destroy that which is good.
