The Man who defeated Yama!

For sometime I really wondered if this is the 21st century India I am living in or was it some Mughal age scene! Read this and dodge the shock it offers, if you can!

And what was more disgusting was the fact that all the News channels(I emphasize ALL) were religiously airing the footage of this drama throughout the whole of yesterday!

There were reporters in the field taking interviews from the jobless mob, asking hilariously funny questions. Every 30 seconds there were conferences with the reporter in Studio asking serious doubts and expressing concerns! Trust me it could not be more ridiculous!

There is one "Sabse Tej" channel Aaj Tak which went miles ahead and came up with a special program (they call it Vishesh, and it generally covers futile analysis of the most shitty topic of the day with all graphical descriptions, pie charts, bar graphs, et al!!) where the topic of discussion was whether there is life after death and whether Science has advanced enough to allow one predict one's exact time of death! And if not, then what the hell the Scientists were doing all this while?

Sometimes, when you have nothing better for entertainment, just try to amuse yourself with these two channels - AajTak and Star News! I don't take the responsibility if you kill yourself or kick the life out of someone nearby!

I really am fed up with such an acute shortage of intellectual entertainment on TV!
:(

India is such a funny land! We have a whole lot of weirdo shameless politicans, and then we also have mentally challenged owners of News channels, and equally jobless shit headed public with herd mentality! And after all this, we still dare to complain and crib, when the foreigners view India as a land of snake charmers and rituals!

I think we all need to grow up!

@ Loonie - Thanks that someone shared the views!

@Srinivas - I do watch Tom and Jerry religiously, Mon to Fri at 10 pm. And trust me on this, AajTak sometimes is much better than anything else!

सही कहा आपने। आज-कल टीवी चैनल मुद्दे की बातों को छोड़कर फालतू बातों पर ही ज़्यादा तवज्‍जो दे रहे हैं।
